2.) scene came from emo and emo came from hardcore punk movement in the 80’s

3.) punk culture was birthed by marginalized ppl (whether they were poor, lgbt, poc, etc) who unified against capitalism and martial institutions

4.) punk rock (and all modern rock) evolved from blues and blues were a music genre that came from black americans as an expression of the oppression they face

no cultural trend starts naturally. and all counter cultures come from marginalized ppl, bc they are cultures that COUNTER against whoever leads the ruling institutions (most likely rich white ppl)

emo/scene culture would not exist if it had not been for blues music. it is that simple
